Pilot introduced us to the world of the  Channel Riders where Elena operated a seemingly benign store selling imported goods. When the military took an interest and she was welcomed back into the ancient guild of families who can secretly navigate channels in the oceans to cross space, things began to get interesting. Now with her own ship, the Storm Chaser, and being drawn increasingly back into the intrigue of the families, Elena is taking back to the high sees and riding the channels to alien landscapes as her import business and partnerships  thrive.

Continuing where Pilot left off, Storm Chaser introduces a number of colorful new characters as well as allowing us to learn more about the Calabrese family and Black Pete, whose interest in Elena may be more than just business as usual. With potential  suitors, business opportunities, alien  pirates  and of course the military, Elena finds herself in very high demand.
